I had a lovely morning with the beautiful Mathilda.  Her mom Ruth was busy with a masseuse having a postnatal massage (which everyone raves about by the way!) so we had a champion Dad helping us with the posing :)

I'll be doing a second shoot with Mathilda, Mom, Dad and big sister next month and am REALLY looking forward to it.

Watch this space....

P.S - I apologize for the funny grey tone to these images, weebly does this.  If you look at them on my Facebook Page you'll see that they have a much warmer colouring.

Kendra and I were waiting on the bridge yesterday for a friend who we were meeting for dinner...and I could not help but pull out my camera and start snapping.  Dusk is the most beautiful time of day for me - when the sky is darkening and the lights are starting to come on....that sort of in-between time, is just magical.

I am really lucky to have such a photogenic sister who is willing to pose for me and on occasion, do silly things.  Kendra constantly nags me to take more photos - which although slightly annoying, I guess I'm grateful for. Thanx Kendra.

Lucy wasn't too excited to have her photo taken, but I hope that once she sees how beautiful she looks in these, she becomes a little less resistant to the camera. :)

Baby Bam Bam's on the way....

Helen and Jason are very good friends of mine, which made my job as the photographer WAY easier.  I knew that when I cracked the odd inappropriate joke that they would laugh instead of frown, and I felt comfortable standing on their bed and rearranging their furniture (only to not use that room at all - sorry guys!)

When I say that we laughed the whole way through, I'm not exaggerating.  It was SUCH fun!

We allowed ourselves plenty of time so that we could be spontaneous and stop when we felt inspired.  We met in Haji Lane and made our way down to Fika (a Swedish coffee shop) for a coffee&Cake break.  YUM!!! We then headed over to Helen&Jason's house and continued there until the sun was down.

I think that the photos show just how happy we all were to be together making memories.

Jason&Helen - when Bam Bam arrives, please remember that you have a personal photographer, babysitter, burper, nappy changer, nursery song singer, play dough maker, lego builder (and what ever else you need!)... just down the road.

Lots of love
Derryn
